BANDERSNITCH, 2024
This sight-specific project, installed at Red Post in Los Angeles, explores order, chaos, and entropy. Imagery is informed by site visits, forensic photography, first-hand accounts, and evidence of changed/damaged/evolving environments caused by super-sized storm patterns and climate change.
Bandersnitch is a nod to the frumious Bandersnatch described in Lewis Caroll's poems Jabberwocky and The Hunting of the Snark. This work is a consideration of the Red Post micro-gallery as a frozen vortex, caught mid-chomp: inhaling, chewing, burping and gulping up collateral storm wreckage.
Rude, Bandersnitch, rude.
